Ten new trends in LED industryTime:2015-07-27 With the transformation of national economy and the change of international economic environment, the LED market with increasingly stable development will face more severe challenges in 2015-2020. With the increase of cost, the reorganization of the industry, the development of technology, cross-border and intelligent and other new elements will be more and more injected into the LED lighting industry. This paper will summarize ten new methods of LED lighting. 1. Plant lighting What's the fun? At present, the application direction of LED agriculture is concentrated on perpetual lamp, livestock and poultry farm lighting, fish trap lamp, selective pest trap lamp and so on. What are the difficulties? The research has proved the feasibility of the application of LED in the agricultural field, but in the development of agricultural LED light source, there is still a lack of accurate and reliable light source technical index system applicable to agricultural production, the products are disorderly, the production design is not standardized, and there is a lack of unified product standards and quality management; the R & D and production cost of LED agricultural lighting source is high. The intelligent LED light regulation technology of Taiwan Institute of technology has been used in Nantou, Hsinchu, Zhanghua's bamboo shoots, asparagus, strawberries, grapes and other agricultural lands in Taiwan, and shows good planting results. There are more well-known LED manufacturers in the mainland under development. 2. Visible light communication What's the fun? Without WiFi signal, you can download a movie in 0.2 seconds under the street light. This is not science fiction, but visible light communication technology (lifi) that has already achieved results. LED lights are on and off very fast. This flash is a process of on and off, and this process can undertake a task to send information, resulting in visible light communication technology (lifi). What are the difficulties? In order to realize the indoor ultra-high speed optical wireless data communication, there are still many challenges to be faced, such as the development of devices, modulation and demodulation and codec technology, wireless channel transmission and multiplexing technology, communication system and architecture design and other related technologies need to be further optimized. In 2012, the PLA University of information engineering and other units have successfully developed six sets of application demonstration systems, including visible light on demand television service, visible light new wireless broadcasting, visible light network lamp, visible light home base station, visible light near-field communication, underground visible light communication and positioning. UV LED What's the fun? UV LED generally refers to the LED with the light center wavelength below 400nm, but sometimes it is called near UV LED when the light wavelength is greater than 380nm, and deep UV LED when it is shorter than 300nm. Semiconductor deep UV light source has great application value in lighting, sterilization, medical treatment, printing, biochemical detection, high-density information storage, confidential communication and other fields. What are the difficulties? Because the luminous efficiency of UV LED is about half lower than that of products using blue LED, the brightness of UV LED has become a major topic. The feasibility of using 400nm UV LED is being explored, because the light with 380nm wavelength will face the limit sooner or later when improving the luminous efficiency of white LED made of UV LED. Who is playing? In June, rayvio, the global leader in deep UV LED devices and disinfection system solutions, announced the achievement of the optical power performance record of deep UV LED. Hongli photoelectric is the only packaging enterprise that can mass produce deep UV LED in China. Automobile lighting What's the fun? Advanced headlight technology is not only the lamp itself, it has developed into an intelligent technology combined with various electronic technologies. It not only provides energy-saving and efficient lighting, but also can greatly improve driving safety. LED lights light up fast, can reflect the real-time car and road conditions, leave the driver longer judgment time, effectively prevent the rear end, reduce the car safety accidents, which has a positive significance for improving the active safety of the car. What are the difficulties? Due to the high cost, LED will not be able to replace halogen lamp and xenon lamp in the next 3-5 years. In the future, the price of LED lights will steadily decline, and they will be more widely and comprehensively used in the automobile field, and LED lights will become more safe and intelligent. Hongli's LED automotive lighting business has made rapid progress, with an average annual growth rate of more than 40%, and its gross profit margin increased from 34.35% in 2011 to 44.25% in 2013.
